A few little Instagram snippets of my process from the animation I’ve been working on for the past 12 weeks! Most of these are of the stop-motion side of the development (I’m also compositing with hand-drawn animation.)
Anyway, I thought I’d put these up as a little preview, since I’ll be hopefully be finalizing the film by Monday morning! Then I’ll finally be able to put it up here. Wish me luck~
P.S. Speaking of Instagram, if anyone wants to add me, my username is @marikacowan!!
Here are pictures of my stop-motion puppet! I included some in-process images from when I was building him, as well as shots of him finished. His body is built from an aluminum wire armature covered in foam and wrapped in foam tape, then painted with latex and acrylic. I carved his head from balsa wood and painted it with acrylic. His costume is made from various materials, including a hand-crocheted inner tunic, some scrap leather, faux fur, and bits of hemp and beads.
Gonna start shooting with him this week if all goes according to plan~~~~
GPOY / sneak peek of my new stop-motion puppet for the animation I’m working on right now ~~~
I’ll post real pictures of him soon!!
